Health insurance plans can change every year and there are more and more insurance companies coming into the health insurance marketplace every year. Some are coming in with very low rates but may have a much smaller network of doctors, hospitals and may cover a smaller formulary of medicines.
We are seeing a lot of the cheaper plans not covering higher cost prescriptions as mentioned in the video so if you are taking some of those medications, please double check if it will be covered by your health plan because once open enrollment is done, you are kinda stuck for the rest of the year.
It is important you check your doctors and prescriptions will be covered and what your co-pay responsibility is going to be.
